In Other News

It is snowing again! Why is it snowing again?! (I mean this in the rhetorical sense of course.) But come on! I am thisclose to losing it. I mean I think snow is beautiful and everything and it is amazing how every snowflake EVER is unique. That is pretty cool. That still does not change the fact that I am getting sick of this snow! Enough is enough already, just make it stop! I don't want to have to drive through blizzard conditions YET AGAIN because Mother Nature is uppity over global warming...

I need to stop ranting now.

Anyhoodle in a related note I read an article on Yahoo! that says 49 states are covered in snow. Isn't that amazing? The only state not covered in snow? Hawaii, naturally. Their volcanoes currently have no snow on them right now so yippee freaking skippee for them.

And how come the southern states, like Florida, shut down schools and stores for a mere inch of now? Like I heard it only snowed for 10 minutes down there BUT APPARENTLY those conditions are enough to shut down entire towns. WOW.

You think you got it bad? Try living up here in Wisconsin. Or better yet why not head to Minnesota. We are the ones who still manage to drive to school, go to work, and still FUNCTION through blizzard conditions.

Conclusion? Snow is lame, as is Florida for shutting down their schools. I mean I think its great that they could enjoy the snow (for all of 5 minutes before it melted away) but COME ON. Deal with it!
